The park around the Villa has eight limes centuries considered monumental trees. They are the only survivors of an ancient landscapes now lost, silente witnesses of a "living nature". Thank to this unique characteristics, they are an intergral part of the cultural heritage of Emilia-Romagna, which was submitted to protect the big trees of important scientific and monuments into this area.
